Manyata reached her flat and saw Inaya sleeping on the plush couch with headphones on.

She smiled looking at her and then silently closed the door and removed the headphone from her ears.

And covered her with the duvet and Inaya in sleep tucked herself properly.

Manyata smiled and went in her room. Whirlwind of emotions were surging inside her.

Today all the past memories flooded back she was feeling overwhelmed and relaxed at the same time.

She freshened up and sat on her bed the whole day's incidents replayed in her mind like flasback.

She sighed.

Manyata forgot to take the number or invitation card for khushi and krish's wedding.

Nor she has taken yuvraj's number so that she can atleast know where the wedding is.

But manyata was so overwhelmed at that moment the thing which she thought right was going away from there place.

Or else lisha,her taunts abhishek everything will start resurfacing her mind.

She lied down on the bed and but made a mental note to give a visit to khushi's house before the marriage.

She was  fidgeting with her fingers the house was lightened up with gleaming golden lights.

It was some days later after there reunioun. Manyata was standing near Khushi's house.

From tommorow the wedding rituals were going to start and she was still late as in the Reunion party khushi had strictly warned her to come atleast 10 days prior.

With shivering hands she rang the bell of khushi's house. Khushi's mom lata aunty opened the door.

Manyata passed a smile to her while she was shocked as well as happy seeing her at the door.

" Manyata beta....." she said and held her hand and brought her inside the house.

" where were you so many days you know khushi was so angry that you didn't came she even cried.....beta just go and meet her wait I'll call her!! "

" khushi....khushi come down look who's here !! " lata aunty smiled at manyata while she smiled back.

" Who is it maa....I was–" khushi was dumfolded seeing manyata her sleep far away.

But her further actions confused manyata. Khushi went in her room again.

But she widened her eyes when khushi came out with a bat in her hands and started running behind  her.

" idiot racscal kutti kameeni aurat kyu aayi hai hya kon hai tu nikal jaa yaha se nikal !! " khushi said and ran behind her while manyata ran to save her life.

" meri pyaari to be bride please listen to me I was just....." manyata tried to explain still running.

" what haan you idiot come here I will surely hit you now you are giving reasons  shamelessly!! " khusi scooffed and threw the bat angrily on the floor.

" khushi!! " her mother yelled at her.

" no maa she always does like this !! " khushi said and started stomping towards her room angrily.

Manyata went behind her in the room and held her ears
" khusiiiiiii !! I am sorry dear see mein situps kar rahi
hun !! "

Khushi looked at her from the corner of her eye but when manyata grinned at her she again made her face to the other side.

" please khushi see I have already done 10 !! " manyata said doing situps.

" Do 100 but still i will not forgive you !! " khushi said and sat on the bed taking pillow on her lap.

" see.....22.....23......24.....25....26" manyata was still doing situps.

Khushi enjoyed her doing situps so didn't stop her but was smiling internally.

"Khushi.....32.....33.....34.....35" manyata now said in a tired voice so khushi looked at her.

" ok ok stop !! I forgive you " khushi said and manyata came towards her and hugged her tightly.

" you dumbo what did you think that I will skip your marriage never possible ! I would have made sure you and that duffer marry in front of me ! " She said and both of them chuckled.

" ok okay now come I will show you my dresses !! "

Soon it was the wedding day and khushi's family aong with manyata was running here and there to see the arrangement.

The engagement was unique as krish prepared a emotional speech for khushi and presented in front of everyone she lost her control then and there and was about to kiss him but stopped seeing relatives !

After that well the sangeet yuvraj and manyata along with there cousins had a blast on stage on the song ' gallan goodiyan '. Everytime yuvraj wanted to talk to her she was called by some or the other person.

At last khushi and krish had a romantic performance on        
' gerua ' song.

While in the mehendi function khushi and manyata danced so much that there mehendi was about to smudge.

And in the haldi well yuvraj and krish's other friends just left him in pajamas as his kurta was all tored off by them.

But khushi's cousins at first applied decently to her but later it turned into a haldi fight !

Now manyata was going to khushi's room to see if she was ready or not !

" khushi.....oh.my.god !!! Kya lag rahi hai yaar " manyata said and pressed her both knuckles on both side of forehead.

" kisi ki nazar na lage tujhe !! " manyata said and kissed her forehead. Khushi passed a nervous smile.

" yaar mati what should I do I am feeling pre wedding jitters !! " khushi said and made a crying face.

" ooy....chup your all jitters will be gone in your wedding night ! " manyata teased her and she blushed.

" shut up okay !! Console me don't give me butterflies ! " khushi said adjusting her pallu.

" no need to be nervous darling we will go and put the fire over there.... your bridal entry should be perfect !! " manyata said dreamily.

" hey my bridal entry will be done what about yours ? " khushi asked and wriggled her brows.

" mine? What about it ? " manyata frowned as she was not able to understand anything .

" yeah yours didnt somebody proposed you my mom said many proposals were coming for you some even talked to Inaya didi ! " khushi said and bunped her shoulder playfully with her.

" oh that !! Leave it I am not intrested in any proposal ! " manyata said and shooked her head.

" accha !! Not even when somebody you know will propose you ? " khusi asked raising her eyebrows.

" what who will propose me ?" Manyata aksed confused.

Khushi chuckled shooking her head and whispered in her ear getting up " soon you will come to know babes !! "

" what ?– " manyata was cut off by her mother. Khushi and her mom dad had an emotional hug and they took her down.

Khushi manyata and her cousins danced towards the mandap on the song
' kudmayi '

As she reached the mandap krish forwarded his hand and she held it firmly.

Manyata stood beside inaya and yuvraj for the rituals they saw them wearing the jaimala  were khushi was not giving him chance to make her wear the garland and all laughed a lot.

During the pheras yuvraj stood beside manyata and whispered in her ears while throwing the flowers.

" manyata meet me near the terrace I want to talk to you ! " yuvraj whispered making her shudder.

" the pheras are going on say here only !! " manyata whispered back.

" tch...I wanna tell something very important please understand !! " yuvraj said in a pleadi g voice.

Manyata thought what's so important that he is waiting days to tell it to her. She bit her lips in confusion.

" okay fine wait !! " manyata said.

" umm....no I will go first you come in 5 mins okay " saying that he run towards the hotel building.

While when she saw krish and khushi they were chuckling looking at her.

Manyata frowned– there is something cooking in between them !!

As they took there last phera she throwed flowers upon them and gone on the terrace.

In the whole way she was frowning and scratching her head !!

When she opened the terrace gate all the rose petals were scattered on the floor making her way towards the table.

On that table there was an album kept and there was a sticky note on that ' for my deskmate '

There were many photos of her and yuvraj and also some with khushi and krish. She smiled looking at them and traced them with her fingers.

" Manyata...." yuvraj called from behind who was sitting on his knees holding her favourite blue rose boquet.

" I want to tell you something....from a very very long time I-I manyata I love you !! " yuvraj said shivering a bit.

And manyata stood there dumbfolded she was shocked by his sudden confession.

Now suddenly krish and khushi's teasing smiles flashed in front of her face and khushi's words rang in her ears.

–God it was yuvraj !! She said silently.

' yeah yours truly destructive distraction !! ' her heart mocked and pink hue was forming on her cheeks.

" yuvraj I—" " please don't stop me....let me say first I have stopped this stupid heart of mine for past 7 years not now please "

" we used to fight laugh with each other initially I thought beacause it was friendship but soon that friendship grew more for me mattered more than friendship for me manyata.....

I started liking your everything the way you carried yourself to your shy and calm demeanor it was special for me whatever you said or your every touch but then abhishek and you....

I was heartbroken at that time it was confirmed that I love you !!....

But then whatever scenario happened I wanted to be there for you but it was also never possible and when I was the first one you opened up to my happiness had now boundries manyata that girls who were mocking you I felt my blood boiling to kill them but your tear filled eyes when I look at them I feel like I am lost.....

lost in being there for you even as friend !! I was quiet beacuse I didnt wanted to break the only thread of friendship which tied both of us that is why I never told you but now I can't control even if it's  a no ! Please don't leave me as a friend I promise I will never bother you.....I love you !! "

Manyata had no words he used love her a lot so deeply from years but still never confessed and she being selfish left him !!

Manyata was feeling overwhelmed and angry at herself but at the same time happy as well but she needed time to process what had happened.

" Yuvraj I–I need time " manyata said looking down.

Yuvraj sighed and tears were forming in his eyes as he thought she would reject.

" N‐No pr-problem take your time !! I-you can take that diary it has all our memories and this roses as well but if you dont mind can I keep one of them ? " he asked and she frowned.

" only one?? And why not the photos " manyata asked because she thought that he was angry at her.

" the album I made it over the years it has memories that are stored in my heart as well I don't need a solid proof of that and well I will feel bad beacuse they are your favourite flowers and I just can't throw them away but this one rose it will stay close to me making me remind that there was a very beautiful phase in my life...."

' which ended here  ! ' he added silently.

Manyata bit her lower lip feeling happy and she was all set to marry him then and there controlling her happiness.

" Yuv-Yuvi can you give me your current no. ? " she asked.

Yuvraj smiled a bit and gave her the number while giving she secretly saw his phone wallpaper which was her and his photo from freshers party where they both were twining.

She beamed with happiness she picked up the bouquet and the album and smiled to herself.

She felt bad looking at his teary eyes and gloomy face but it is soon going beacome 10 times more happy.

Yuvraj saw her going without even looking back he sighed and sat on the chair and held the rose on his hands.

Tears streamed down his face. He bit his lower lip hard to control his sobs he kept his head on the table and began crying.

Soon his phone beaped for many times and he saw message from a unknown no.

Unknown No.

Yuvi...while your confession I felt too overjoyed as well as overwhelmed but still I needed time but the moment you said why I should keep the bouquet and you the rose you know what I felt ?

Yuvraj rubbed his tears and looked at his phone screen with confusion as there was no further message.

But somebody said in his front " I felt like marrying you then and there I- yuvraj if you would have been there in my life earier it would be so full of happiness.

I think god gave me punishment for ignoring a guy like you and loving that bastard abhishek .

That night in the party you stood up for me fought for me shuted up everybody's mouth for me consoled me and yet I was a fool yuvi !! I I dont know how to say this but even I think now I am falling for you !! And I am sorry for that night I  jus- "

Before manyata could process anthing further yuvraj pulled her in a warm hug. And tears of happiness streamed down his eyes he felt so happy that he couldnt express it so he tightened the hug.

Manyata also wrapped her arms around his neck . And a warm smile adorned both of there faces.

Yuvraj looked at her his hands still on her waist while hers wrapped around his neck.

" so you felt like marrying me ? Come let's go down my parents are also there and so is your sister your parents will be informed and I dont think they will mind me as there son in law.."yuvraj said and tears where still there in his eyes.

She chuckled and rubbed his tears and said " Mr. Yuvraj Sahore ! I wanna settle in my life properly first earn some money and make my parents and didi proud and second I said I am falling for you when did I say I love you ? "

She shrugged and he pulled her more closer and said
" what did you said just now that you love me !! "

" when did I say that I said I am falling for I didn't say I love you ? " she asked in confusion while he again chuckled.

" you said that for the second time !! And now unintentionally but in future I will make sure that...."

Manyata smiled and raised her brows " that? "

He came more closer and whispered in her ear " that my every action forces you to say that you love me ! "

He said and she looked at him with unspoken emotions in his eyes and soon her eyes started flooding as well. She looked down and they fell from her eyes.

Yuvraj kissed her both cheeks from where tears where streaming down " now no more shedding them !! "

She smiled and hugged him hard. While he just smiled thanking god about the reunioun which brought the love of his life back to him.

While she wondered how she got so lucky that a man like yuvraj came in her life while also he gave her strength to face her past demons.

They both looked at each other smiled and he kissed her forehead.
